Tone abuse! Make sure you didn't miss Page 157. I'm updating twice as a part of a Christmas "present." This page also doesn't make sense unless you read the one before it.

Lots of tones on this page. I don't care though. It's fast and easy. And I like how it looks, more or less, so I'll take it. Don't particularly care for Kuri in the first panel, but I'll live. We'll see if you do .

As for that thing in the second panel . . . don't ask. It's the result of not knowing what I wanted so I just did something easy. Being indecisive isn't a good thing when it comes to art.

There will be something else later this morning, I hope. Don't miss it!

Lol, nice pose in the second last panel! I can never get my drawings to take on the pose I intend them for, even if I draw those silly little underlying stick figures...

No offense, but Kuri looks a little... Odd in the first panel, her mouth looks agape... If that's how it was intended, I am sorry.

Hurray litle spirit thingie. I personally would've made him out of wispy-feeling screentone, myself. It would make him more scary looking.

First comment from me, yay.

In general, Vye, I'm enjoying this comic a lot, you've piqued my curiosity with the story and now I have to know what is being hidden from us in this comic! TELL ME THE SECRETS!!!

Anywho, for this and the last page, I have no doubt in my mind that Kuri is talking about Hillaree's "friend" who shows up in her dreams (which by the way, when I read the comic that explained it, I actually exclaimed out loud what a cool idea that was). I already have a theory or two as to who her dream-friend is, but they're just theories and are influenced by the unhealthy amount of anime I watch.

Anyway, this comment's gone on long enough. Love the comic, Vye, I look forward to more!

You like the pose, huh? Well, okay. I don't think it's anything special but won't talk you out of liking it. And yeah, Kuri looks weird in that first panel. I am not afraid to admit it.

The spirit being her "friend" seems to be the poplular opinion going around. We'll just have to wait to see if it's true or not. And glad you liked the idea! I liked it too! So much apparently that I used it in a work I hope to publish eventually . . .

amjam: Yup, I love Yu-Gi-Oh! Yugi and Yami's relationship especially. (I don't think they're gay, I just mean how close of a friendship they have!) But yeah, like I said, I know the two souls in one body has been done. I just hope I'm different enough for the idea still to appear fresh.

And yeah, I didn't want it to be really obvious from the getgo that she had two souls in her. I wanted it to be a surprise. Glad I pulled it off!

Seeing as this page isn't the latest one, feel free to simply ignore this comment, but I think that where the spirit's arm is wrapping around Hillaree's hand, the fingers are a little long. Just seems kinda.. y'know, surreal.
