Hillaree, known by her friends as the "Mewtwo Queen," is suddenly taken to a world where Pokémon are real. She is told she will be returned home when she is ready. What could that mean? Well, since she's going to be there a while, she might as well catch some Pokémon!

A Pokémon Fan Comic written and drawn by Vye Brante. Rated Teen for some violence/fighting, blood, and death. The art gets better as you go, trust me.

Updates on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Happy Anniversary! Today is the one month anniversary of "Just Gotta." It was launched January 19th. I still don't know how the heck I've managed to update it daily, but it's been updated at least once a day since it started. (I did miss ONE day though.) Thanks to everyone who has read my comic over the past month, and thanks to anyone who reads it in the future! And thanks to all the fans who help make making this comic a blast!

Anywho, here's page 28. My question about the pace still stands. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, read my comment on page 27.) With the second half of this page, I was experimenting with smaller panels. I tend to draw too big so can't get much in on one page. I hope to train myself to draw smaller when possible.

Gardevoir looks better on this page. Well, at least the first one. The second and third pictures of her are supposed to be goofy. Those three panels there in a row are a mini-homage to a conversation between Saito Hajime and Sagara Sanosuke out of Volume 11 of "Rurouni Kenshin." You probably can't tell it is unless you know it is . . .

I like Hillaree's expression in the last panel just because I managed to get it to look how I wanted. Go me!

Edit Note: I'm going to be going out of town today, so won't be able to reply to any comments until tonight. Just letting you know . . . just in case.

Gardevoir is getting a lot better! She looks really really good. I like the sixth panel - if Gardevoir is supossed to look cutesy and innocent-ish in that panel, you pulled it off really well! My guess is that Hillaree is going to receive Charmander, but I guess I'll have to read more to find out! ^_^

And yeah, she's going to get the Charmander. (I'm afraid I made it a bit too obvious, and then here I am admitting to it before we get to that point.) But how and why? THAT you'll have to wait to find out.

Mm . . . Well, I'd like to agree that the originals must be perfect before I pen them. But unfortunately, there are times when I'll just give up when it's just "good enough." But I get it the best I can.

For everyone else out there . . . In case you guys are wondering what we're talking about, SaitouRyu is the real Shellee. She's the one the character Shellee is named after. She sometimes gets to see the originals before I edit them on computer so she sees them before anyone else.

Hope that clears it up.
