Random Backgrounds Tones Are Fun I was going to do a sparkly background tone in that last panel, but decided on this one instead. Both are pretty random.

Gardevoir apparently did NOT want to be on this page! No matter how I tried to draw her, she didn't look right. The above picture was edited greatly after I put it into Manga Studio. It looks much better than the original, but still not quite right. I mean, this is the first time I've drawn a Butterfree, and it looks a lot better. Not perfect, but better. So, I need more practice? Yeah . . .

Other than my less than perfect Gardevoir, I really like the last panel. Pr. Evur looks so cool!

As Pr. Evur said, he has many Pokémon. We've only met two so far, Butterfree and Gardevoir. (Charmander isn't technically his, as he is about to explain on the next page.) We'll meet some of his other Pokémon shortly.

Wow! Awesome! Yes, I was checking the page every ten minutes all morning. Such a dork-fan. XD
So, I take one teeny break for a shower, and it's the RETURN OF ELRICH EVUR! -plushie love-

Just a note: I like the bubbly tone. It is a good tone for love. =D

I reallyreallyreally love Pr. Evur in the last panel, and I especially love his fingers (-is still hand impaired-). You're right- he looks really cool! @_@ -loves-

Butterfree's wings are done really well too. I like the detail put in them. (Darn D+P are going to mess people up eventually, trying to draw male/female Pokémon.)

I was wondering: I don't know too much about Gardevoir's details in what they look like (Despite the fact that I really do love my Pokémon)... but is she holding something? Sorry, I couldn't tell if that dark thingy was part of her. ^^;

Mwahahaha! So I timed it just right for you to miss it for a while, huh? Mwahaha- Oh wait, I already laughed maniacally.

Glad you liked the page! Especially how you liked his finger 'cause, (I've said it before and I'll say it again,) hands are my weakness!

Oh man, you're right! I completely forgot about the Diamond and Pearl making male and female Pokémon different. That's going to throw me off!

. . . Oh well.

Okay, now, about Gardevoir . . . no, she's not holding anything. That dark thing is part of her. You know how Ralts has that . . . horn thing? And how Kirlia has those pink ridges in her hair? It's a constant through the evolutions, they have a pink thing going through them. Gardevoir has a pink thing going through her chest, or at least, that's what it looks like.

I don't know how well I explained it . . . But yeah, that's part of her.

Oooohh... Hah. -feels dumb- I just googled a picture of her and now I see. Silly mee~

-coninues to hug Elrich plushie-

Egads! Because I'm leaving early tomorrow, I'm going to have an entire week to catch up on when I return. Whee, that'll be fun, but I'm sad I won't be able to comment on these for a while.

I didn't know either . . . I didn't know Gardevoir had a thing like that until I looked it up online too, so it's nothing to feel bad about. I think it's one of those things that you don't really notice unless you look.

I'm going to miss your comments while you're on vacation. I'll be sure that the next week of pages are great ones so you won't be disappointed when you come back. You be sure to have fun!

For the first time drawing Butterfree, that's really good! *applauds* But like you said, Gardevoir could use some work. Your drawing is getting better and I really like where the story's going, which is the second most important part of the comic! (the drawing technically is more important, but decent enough drawings with a good storyline makes a great comic!)

Practice, Practice Thank you for you comment, (and applause,) on my Butterfree. I appreciate it! I'm also glad you like the story so far.

The main reason I'm doing this comic is for practice drawing and making comics. I have tons of practice with story writing, but my art leaves something to be desired. So thanks for being patient with me as I get better! I'm glad it's improving, even if it's just a little at a time.
