Your typical story about a girl from our world pulled into the Pokémon world . . . or is it?

Hillaree, known by her friends as the "Mewtwo Queen," is suddenly taken to a world where Pokémon are real. She is told she will be returned home when she is ready. What could that mean? Well, since she's going to be there a while, she might as well catch some Pokémon!

A Pokémon Fan Comic written and drawn by Vye Brante. Coloring jobs beginning with Chapter 5 done by xxHANIxx. The art gets better as you go, trust me.

No backgrounds again . . . I seem to have gotten a little lazier than normal with these last two pages. I don't even have any background tones in there. But I was a little worried I wouldn't even get this page up today 'cause I have a lot to do, so whatever I can get will work, right?

. . . Right?

Anyway, this is where we learn that Hillaree can understand Pokémon. There's a very good reason why she can . . . but I can't tell you what it is yet.

I lightened Gardevoir's grayscale a bit. She was a smidge too dark before. She might still be a bit too dark . . . We'll see. Speaking of Gardevoir though, there are NO pictures of what a Gardevoir looks like from the front! I have no idea! Don't be surprised if we only see her face from an angle . . . like, all the time.

Hillaree's supposed to look weird in the last panel. I had originally planned something a little different, but ran out of room on the page to do it. So that's what we have instead.

Page 22 will be the end of the first chapter. I don't know how long chapters will be normally . . . just however long they need to be, I guess.

Thanks! It's good to see that the art and the story are both satisfactory. I'm sure they aren't perfect, but at least they're entertaining.

On a side note . . . no page today. My birthday put me behind. (I knew I should have used the Gag Strip and Abandoned Concept as filler!) I have the page drawn, but I don't see how I'm going to be able to pen it and edit in Manga Studio along with everything else I have to do today.

So, I'm sorry. Of course, the main reason I was updating daily was just to see how long I could pull it off. Guess we have our answer now.
