Your typical story about a girl from our world pulled into the Pokémon world . . . or is it?

Hillaree, known by her friends as the "Mewtwo Queen," is suddenly taken to a world where Pokémon are real. She is told she will be returned home when she is ready. What could that mean? Well, since she's going to be there a while, she might as well catch some Pokémon!

A Pokémon Fan Comic written and drawn by Vye Brante. Coloring jobs beginning with Chapter 5 done by xxHANIxx. The art gets better as you go, trust me.

Explanation Yeesh, News Comic me.

This page is what I call "Discussion With the Author." They will appear in other works of mine as well. They are basically comics of me interacting with my characters. They ask questions and I answer them. It's basically for me to joke around and to help explain things if I don't think they're clear enough. With "Just Gotta," they will appear now and then but probably not very often.

My character, Hillaree, is in fact named after myself and the basics of her design come from me as well, but she isn't supposed to be exactly like me. That's what the page is pointing out. (Who hasn't put themselves into a Pokémon story, really?) Her name and basic design are pretty much where the similarities end.

That word bubble in the last panel is supposed to show that Hillaree and I are speaking at the same time, in case that's not clear. I wanted it to have two tail thingies, but couldn't figure out how to do it. That'll do for now.

P.S. The "News Comic" is a comic strip I do on my main web site where I talk about what I've been doing lately. When I appear, I'll be the "News Comic me." Just so there's no confusion.
