Your typical story about a girl from our world pulled into the Pokémon world . . . or is it?

Hillaree, known by her friends as the "Mewtwo Queen," is suddenly taken to a world where Pokémon are real. She is told she will be returned home when she is ready. What could that mean? Well, since she's going to be there a while, she might as well catch some Pokémon!

A Pokémon Fan Comic written and drawn by Vye Brante. Coloring jobs beginning with Chapter 5 done by xxHANIxx. The art gets better as you go, trust me.

Chapter 1 Ack, color!

This is the title page for the first chapter. It features our main character, Hillaree, along with some early team members. (Some of them won't appear for a while yet though.) I colored it with colored pencils and that's as professional as my coloring jobs are going to be, as far as I know. Don't expect much color. And I need more practice drawing Pokémon, but they didn't come out TOO bad. (Not TOO good either.)

This was actually the second page I drew and was going to appear after Page 1. But while drawing pages 2-4, I realized how stupid it was to hide Hillaree's face if she had already appeared on the title page. So it got pushed back until after the reveal.

A quick explanation about the title. "Just Gotta" comes from the Pokémon catchphrase, "Gotta Catch 'em All." While thinking of a title, I was looking at that and thought that Hillaree doesn't have to catch them all. Just has to catch some. So, "Just Gotta."

Another quick note, hands are my weakness. Not good at drawing hands. I bet you can see what I mean. (Sigh . . .)

^__^ Makes me wanna do a Pokemon Webcomic of my own. (unoriginal) I really like how you drew the Pokemon. And trust me, your hands are 1,000 times better than mine. Great job. ^^

Well . . . I'm glad my comic is inspriational!

The Pokémon are okay except for Pikachu. Not sure what I was doing. And the hands . . . well . . . glad you find them acceptable.

Spoiler still. Spyro, Boltz, Jaws, and Sting are the ones she has (sorta) as of the end of Chapter 4, but she also gets an Oddish and a Zubat. I said that some of them wouldn't be appearing for a while. The Zubat and Oddish we're still waiting on.
