I didn't want to fall behind again, so when Spekkal_X sent me a fan art, I put it up right away! Go check it out! I've also added a piece of art by Neko. I requested it as a sketch so it was kinda forced Fan Art . . . But we decided to let it count all the same.
I've updated the fan art page finally with a picture from klinkhauer, wolfloner, Jr DJ, and Hoshiko-chan. I also put the April Fool's Day gag from Cursed Bluto up. I didn't know where else to put it. I guess with the gag strips woulda been fine . . . but I already put it up.
The problem is, I thought I had more to put up. I just can't remember what it was or who it was from. So if you have submitted a fan art and don't see it up on the Fan Art page, please tell me! It's driving me nuts!
So if you haven't noticed, I made a button for the forum and then took down the link on the tool bar. Hope everyone can see the buttons I have. This frees up a spot on the tool bar for something else. I might just forget about a gallery page and put up a poll. Polls on the forum are fun, but only forum members can vote. And polls seem to be all the rage these days.
We'll see.
I've got the Fan Art page redone finally! Yay! I'm proud of myself. It was kinda annoying but I got it.
There are also three new fan arts. One from Echo, Soulmage, and Ace. Check them out! If you've sent me a fan art recently or even back in the past and I haven't put it up yet or you see it missing from the new fan art page, let me know please. Thank you!
I'm still thinking about making it an all inclusive Art page so I don't have to make a separate page just for my stuff . . . We'll see.
Next up is the Character Page. I might do that tonight as well!
I'm going to be redoing the Fan Art page. It's getting a little big, and I've been wanting to add my art to it so it would then get even bigger. So I would just change it to an "Art" page and then use thumbnails for the pictures and stuff.
I am also considering putting the Gag Strips there. After the new chapter starts and they stop boosting my pages per week, they don't really need to be in the archive anymore. I could make this Art page an Art/Gag page. I just think that they are somewhat annoying for people going through the entire archive. They just make it take longer to get to the next chapter.
But then we have my Abandoned Concepts and Discussions with the Author pages. They should probably be taken down too, if I'm taking down the gags. But then my explanations would be hard to squeeze in if I use the thumbnail method I'm considering . . .
So it's a lot to think about. I'm just trying to clean up the archives so it's easier for new readers to read everything straight through. I also read through the archives now and again and skipping over these pages gets kinda annoying, even for me.
If you have some input, let me know. Especially you gag strip artists. Would you just totally be offended if I took your gag down for this Art/Gag page? I mean, in the submission page, I even said it'd be in the archives and stuff, so I'd be going back on that if I take them down. Let me know what you think.
I took down all the birthday art I received and added them and some other fan art I've received up on the Fan Art page. I have this sneaky feeling I forgot something though, so if you've sent me a fan art and don't see it up, please let me know!
Attention all Pokémon Comic artists! If you haven't already seen it, Destinie, a force behind a hand drawn Pokémon comic called "Disfunctional Pokémon Adventure," started a new site called Drawn Pokémon Comic Alliance. It's a place where hand drawn Pokémon Comics can put up banners and such so that they are all easier to find. Or whatever. I don't think I'll do a good job at explaining it, so here's a link so you can check it out yourself!
